Today I decided to take a ride on a bike that I knew in advance needed air, instead of putting it on the back of a truck or finding a portable air tank I decided to ride it to the nearest (which felt like 12 miles) gas station. The ride to the gas station took a lot of strength and muscle, I felt like I was pedaling for dear life. Despite the difficulty due to lack of air, I kept pushing forward and once I made it to the air pump to refill I was able to ride off like an award winning medalist!
My ride and struggle for the lack of better words was a reminder of life, we find ourselves pushing and pedaling for dear life, we do this so much that sometimes we forget to take a break, pause if you will for air. Life is all about pushing forward, pedaling in your purpose. In the midst of it all, don't forget to breathe.
