While in the store preparing today's festivities, I also started to mentally prepare myself. When we open our homes to others, the first thing that hits them when the hit the door should not be the aroma of the food, but the aroma of our light. So many are facing issues daily and it's holidays like today that heightens the grief and depression many are battling with.
So today as we celebrate and honor those who fought courageously and lost their lives for us, have a moment of silence and take a deep breath before you open your doors to entertain.
God loves a cheerful giver and a cheerful giver has the power to ignite something into others through hospitality and love.
