The word "vapor" popped into my mind while standing in the line at the post office today. The constant nudge made me do a little a research -standing in the line anyways.... Here's a vieux of what I came up with.
Vapor: A vapor may co-exist with a liquid (or solid). When this is true, the two phases will be in equilibrium, and the gas partial pressure will equal the equilibrium vapor pressure of the liquid (or solid).
Yet you do not know [the least thing] about what may happen tomorrow. What is the nature of your life? You are [really] but a wisp of vapor (a puff of smoke, a mist) that is visible for a little while and then disappears [into thin air]. (James 4:14 AMP)
What I got is you can't control the "vapor" that comes into your life. You can't control who you love, you just have to love, let love be love, embrace what's happening and let God do the rest. If it's meant the two phases (people) will be in equilibrium, and the gas (love) pressure will equal the equilibrium of the liquid (or solid).
Hope this blessed you as much as it did for me.
